A few days ago I visited the Azamara Quest while she was docked under the sunny Miami sky. Before even stepping fully on board, I was met with a wonderful surprise. The ship was under the command of Captain Dario Guerrieri, a colleague from our early days as young officers at Costa. We had not seen each other for many years. Meeting him again on the gangway added an unexpected human touch to the visit. Captain Guerrieri proudly walked me through the ship and highlighted what makes her such a special vessel. It created a very personal start to an already meaningful visit.

The ship was preparing for a Halloween celebration that evening, so the atmosphere was warm, festive, and full of energy. It was the perfect moment to explore this elegant small luxury vessel and evaluate her potential for premium events, themed voyages and full ship charter programs.
what makes the azamara quest special
The Azamara Quest is part of the iconic R class series, one of the most successful small ship designs ever created in modern cruising. Originally built for Renaissance Cruises, these vessels later became the foundation for Azamara and Oceania. Their combination of intimacy, premium finishes and versatile venues makes them highly attractive to charter planners who want a boutique feel without giving up operational strength.
