DISCOVERING CLASSIC ELEGANCE IN LUXURY CRUISING
A TIMELESS LUXURY VOYAGE ON THE CRYSTAL SYMPHONY
The Crystal Symphony still maintains its classic elegant appeal, offering industry-leading luxury cruise experiences. When I started my cruise career in the 90s, the Crystal Symphony epitomized luxury cruising for me.
A JOURNEY FROM NAPLES TO MONTE CARLO
EXCEPTIONAL AT SEA
I had the privilege of sailing aboard this iconic ship during a FAM program from Naples (1 July 2024) to Monte Carlo (4 July 2024), transiting the ports of Civitavecchia and Portofino. The Crystal Symphony exceeded my expectations. The classic cruise charm, luxurious ambiance, impeccable service, and fantastic dining experiences place the Crystal Symphony and the new Crystal Cruises among the best in luxury cruising. With a GT of 51,044 and a capacity of 603 passengers, the Crystal Symphony boasts an impressive Guest to Space ratio of 1 to 84.2 CU FT, one of the highest in the cruise industry. Throughout the cruise, I never felt crowded; there was ample space for everyone.
REVAMPED LUXURY
A MODERN TAKE ON A CLASSIC SHIP
Though built in 1995, the ship was completely revamped by its new owners, Abercrombie & Kent (A&K), in 2023, shortly after their acquisition. I was delighted to experience the fantastic new Sapphire Veranda Suites, featuring an interior space of 430 SQ FT (approximately 40 sqm) and a splendid veranda up to 107 SQ FT (approximately 10 sqm). The suite amenities were fantastic, including a complimentary mini-bar that could be promptly customized to your needs by the attentive butler (available to all guests in all suites of the Crystal Symphony). What impressed me most about Crystal was the inclusivity and outstanding service by all their staff, with a nearly 1-to-1 guest-to-staff ratio.
EXCEPTIONAL SUITE EXPERIENCE
LUXURY AND COMFORT COMBINED
The inclusivity of the Sapphire Veranda Suites included a spacious living room and dining area, a private veranda, a queen-size bed or twin beds with sumptuous bedding, a walk-in closet, two TVs, complimentary wifi, dry cleaning for five pieces plus one complimentary bag of laundry every 10 cruise days, complimentary pressing (5 pcs/day), afternoon canapés, a Nespresso coffee maker, and binoculars. I was truly impressed by the impeccable butler assigned to my suite. I asked him to serve my last breakfast in-suite, and it was excellent.
